IVAO India, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia Division invites all IVAO members to our Triangle Event

Pilot Information

This is first of its kind event happening in South Asia. There will be four airports involved in this event to make it successful

• VOPB - Port Blair - India (Host)
• VTSP - Phuket - Thailand
• WIMM - Medan - Indonesia
• WMKK - Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia 

Pilots will depart from one of the airports listed below and arrive at their final destinations of choice via VOPB (touch and go)

• Leg 1: WIMM to VTSP or WMKK via VOPB
• Leg 2: VTSP to WMKK or WIMM via VOPB
• Leg 3: WMKK to VTSP or WIMM via VOPB

Awards

• Pilots and ATC members will receive India Division Aviation Celebration Tours and Events Award.
• Pilots must submit their PIREPs after the successful completion of the flight on IVAO India - File PIREP/Flight Reporting click here
• ATC members must report their hours online on IVAO India - File ATC Report click here
• Please contact in-events@ivao.aero or in-hq@ivao.aero if you do not receive the award within 7 days after the event.

• In order to qualify for HQ Event Award points, you must complete one of the flights via VOPB
• This event is worth 1 point towards your IVAO HQ Event Award
• As pilots, the departure and arrival airports should both be within the event FIR coverage
• As ATCs, your connection time should be at least an hour within the event timeframe.
• All pilots must include RMK/Triangle Event - Leg XXXX to XXXX via VOPB in the flight plan remarks.
